Listener profiles

One person's devices share playlists, favourites and history.

Needs A recent Sterio Server. Older ones say Update Sterio Server to use profiles.

Where to find it

  • Settings › Profile.

A profile is one person's devices. Playlists, favourites, listening history and radio likes belong to the profile, so every device in it sees the same ones.

Set it up

  1. 1Give the profile a name in Your name.
  2. 2On a device already in the profile, make a code. It has 6 characters, works once and lasts 5 minutes.
  3. 3On the new device, enter it in Code from your other device and confirm Join this profile?

Good to know

  • Leave this profile? takes a device out; it starts a profile of its own.
  • Other people's playlists show under Shared with you, read-only. Use Save a copy to make one yours.
  • Devices in one profile are also linked for Play on and listening sessions.
