Your Navidrome,
played as it is.
Sterio connects straight to your Navidrome server and plays your original files, with your playlists, favourites and lyrics.
Navidrome · other Subsonic servers · no Sterio account
Set up in a minute.
Add a connection
In Sterio, open Sources › Add a connection and choose Navidrome / Subsonic.
Enter your server
Its address, such as http://192.168.1.10:4533 or your own domain, with your user name and password. Leave out the port and Sterio finds it.
Play
Sterio checks the connection and your library appears: albums, artists, playlists and favourites.
Between your phone and your server, nothing else.
Sterio talks to your Navidrome directly; nothing goes through Sterio's servers, and there's no Sterio account. Your password is never sent as it is: Sterio signs in with Subsonic's salted token.
The file, as it is on your server.
Original files
FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, AAC, and DSD where the device supports it. Navidrome sends the file untouched, so hi-res stays hi-res.
ReplayGain
Read from Navidrome's tags, by track or by album, as you choose in Settings.
Plays counted in Navidrome
What you play shows under Activity › Now Playing and in your play counts.
Synced lyrics
From the tags or an .lrc file next to the music, scrolling with the song. Plain lyrics otherwise.
Survives a rescan
If a rescan moves your tracks, Sterio finds them again, so Home mixes and history keep playing.
On your speakers
Send it to a BluOS or UPnP/DLNA streamer, or over AirPlay.
Everything Navidrome knows.
Browse and search
Albums, artists and genres, and Home mixes made from your own library.
Favourites both ways
Star something in Sterio or in Navidrome and it's starred in both.
Several libraries
Pick any mix of your Navidrome libraries, or all of them: Connections › your server › Music libraries.
Your playlists, on every device.
Kept on the server
Create, rename, reorder, add and remove tracks, delete. Every change is saved in Navidrome, so it's the same everywhere.
Smart playlists
Shown with their real track count. Read-only: the rules live on the server.
From playlist files
Playlists Navidrome imports from .m3u files in your music folders get their own section.
Shared with you
Other users' public playlists, read-only.
Covers
The playlist's own image, uploaded in Navidrome or saved next to the .m3u with the same name. Otherwise a mosaic of its albums.
Small things, done right.
Hold a track
Add to queue, add to a playlist, go to the album or artist, or make it a favourite.
Your server, from the app
Each connection shows its details and libraries, and lets you start a scan and watch it, rename it, sign in again or remove it.
Another Subsonic server?
Gonic, Airsonic, Ampache, LMS and Nextcloud Music connect the same way. Navidrome gets the most, through its OpenSubsonic extensions; on other servers you choose one library or all of them.
