How to · Your library
Add your music
Connect a server, a share or a folder: Sterio plays your library where it is.
Where to find it
- Settings › Connections › Add a connection.
- The first screen also has Search your network, which finds every kind at once.
Each kind of source
- Sterio Server: search for it or type its address, then pair. See Connect to Sterio Server.
- Jellyfin and Navidrome / Subsonic: pick the server or type its address, then sign in.
- Plex: Sterio shows a 4-character code; enter it at plex.tv/link, then choose your music library. You never type your Plex password in Sterio.
- SMB: pick the server, sign in with a user or as a guest, then choose the folder. The first scan reads every track and prepares the covers; later scans only pick up changes. Full rescan is in Connections.
- UPnP / DLNA: pick the media server, then the folder.
- Music folder: choose a folder with the system picker. Sterio indexes it as a local library.
Switching
Connections lists every source, with In use on the active one. Tap a row to switch.
If one won't connect, use Can't connect? Export diagnostics on the connect screen and send the file from TestFlight, as on the support page.
